Boys Of Wisdom And Stature

→ Sense Of Belonging.

As I went to the Secondary 3 camp, I couldn’t help but feel that it was going to be a fun camp. As I got on the bus to go to the campsite, everyone was in high spirits. We knew that after this camp we would be able to wear our long pants.. finally! Eeter’s enthusiasm was overdone. The first day was long and tiring. We did many team building activities which were quite boring but turned out quite well. Eeter was going around shouting “Banderlog Oui!” while some responded, most told him to shut up, I guess this is some sort of team bonding? Everyone were from different classes, in the previous years, and our classmates from other countries. In the second day, we went on stronger bonding activities like the mud trail and rafting. We had to help each other if we were stuck in the mud, Han Qin was really helpful when we were at this part when we were swimming and had to climb over a huge log. During the camp, I’m very sure everyone felt a sense of belonging in the class, slowly as the camp went on. Everyone really bonded in the class, even someone who got kicked out of his tent. I’m sure, we all made new friends, and we will continue to bond stronger as a class as the years go by.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.”
